LIFE AS HE KNOWS IT IS OVER
KARSHNER PLANS TO WED

Making it official with a picture, Trent poses with his new fiancee Michelle at the location where it
all happened. The two went to a California blueberry farm, where customers are encouraged to
pick their own fruit. After After picking a full basket of the berries (just out of sight in the pic), Trent
dropped to a knee and popped the question.  There are no plans right now for the wedding date.

California seemed like the perfect setting for the perfect proposal. Sunshine, warm weather, and the smell of fresh blueberries in the air.  And that was all Trent Karshner needed to make his dream come true.
In true gentleman fashion, Karshner dropped to a knee and asked his beau of 10 months for her hand in marriage.
"I feel really good," said Karshner as he wiped a stain of blueberry from his trousers. "I was nervous, because I didn't know if she liked me or not, but she ended up saying yes, so I think that's a pretty good indication."
The wedding comes as no surprise to anyone, especially Hagar Tour members who have seen it coming for the last 9 months.
"Since the day he met her, it's been in the cards," said teammate Chris Bannister.  "He's pretty much acted like a married guy for the past 9 months, so what the heck- he may as well be married."
OU812 member Andrew Ables agreed. "Trent who?" he said. "Trent has distanced himself from golf, the Tour and its members. I feel for 5150 right now because they recently elected him as the captain, and who knows if he'll pull an Elick on them."
Newly elected OU812 captain Dave Kaufman thinks this it the icing on the cake for his team.
"He didn't have time for golf before, and now that he'll be planning a wedding we should never see him on the course. The leadership of 5150 will be hurt, and the slim chance they had at winning this year will be gone for sure. That's only good news for OU812."
Only time will tell if Karshner neglects his team or the game to instead pick cakes and chair doilies for the big day. But he's not worried.
"My game will be fine, just wait and see," he said.
